Survey results still coming in, but why do so many disagree with Bible?
Survey results have been compiled, but while 100% of those surveyed so far claimed to believe in the Bible
as "the word of God," a large percentage of responses did not match the Bible.
See if you can discover which answers aren't matching the Bible's:
Israel's temple was destroyed by God Himself—Why would He do that?
FEATURE:
Right God, right religion, right Bible—Why then destroyed?
They had the right God.
They had the right religion.
They even had the right Bible.
But they—Israel—were utterly destroyed by God.
Why?
How could such an unthinkable thing happen?
How could the very God Who had promised Israel great blessings, vent the full fury of His wrath upon "His people?"
The answer to these questions are vital, because modern Christians—"spiritual Israel"—are plodding
the same dangerous path.

Could modern scientists—who call these organisms "simple"—create one of them from scratch?
FEATURE:
Scientific odds you evolved by chance? Zero
It's been said that it isn't what you don't know that gets you into trouble—it's what you do know that isn't so.
And that brings us to the topic of so-called "Chemical Evolution."
A surprising number of experts these days—including educators, the media, and even NASA—absolutely "know" Chemical Evolution
is a fact. That's why they're spending billions looking for aliens.
Exactly how they "know" this we're not quite sure—and nor, scientifically, are they—but it doesn't
keep them from airing false...

Living to please Christ—In how we worship
PART 1:
Worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth
As you likely know, the Bible commands Christians to worship God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
But what many today have evidently forgotten is...it also describes HOW God wants to be worshiped.
Jesus clarified this when He said that true worshipers must worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Before scratching the mere surface of that profound statement, let's first take a step back and look at the oft-forgotten reasons why
we worship in the first place...Worship means: "Paying reverent... READ ARTICLE
What does it take to qualify as a 'false worshiper?'
PART 2:
What does it take to qualify as a 'false worshiper?'
Jesus at times spoke of religious people who were 'false worshipers.'
So, what does it take to worship God 'falsely' or 'in vain?'
The verses examined in this article shed light on this crucial topic—for what a tragedy it will be people to discover, at the judgment,
that they had been worshiping God all along in vain.

How can you tell when a person's a 'false teacher?'
PART 1:
'False teaching'—How to Biblically define it
Every Christian—without question—should have a clear understanding of what "false teaching" is.
Why?
Because believing it will have eternally disastrous consequences—as the Bible indicates (more on this later).
Since this is the case, then every Christian should also clearly understand how to identify a false teacher.
Obviously, the false teacher is the one propagating the false doctrine—and is therefore
costing people their souls...

Aim for perfection—2 Corinthians 13:11
FEATURE:
Are you 'aiming for perfection'—or the status quo?
The Bible says:
"Aim for perfection...and the God of love and peace will be with you." (2 Corinthians 13:11)
In Matthew 5:48 Jesus said:
"Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." But modern Christian thinking—as you may have noticed— is quite the opposite. It goes something like this:
"I never will be perfect. Therefore, I see no need to 'aim for perfection' whatsoever. Simply..."

If modernists re-wrote the Bible, how big would it be—and what would it say?

If modernists re-wrote the Bible, what would it say?
If modernists rewrote the Bible, what would it say?
How big would it be?
How many pages would exist in the modern Christian's "new revised version" of the Bible?
Truth is, the real Bible on our coffee tables is apparently far larger than it needs to be.
Indeed, the entirety of the New Testament—according to many modern Christians—should apparently
be summarized into less than a page. In fact, perhaps down
to a single sentence.

We don't worship gods like this—or do we?
FEATURE:
False gods: Who's in charge of your life?
The false god you see pictured to your left is probably beneath the dignity of many modern Christians.
No, we don't bow down to images like this.
We don't hide miniature statues in our closets and pay clandestine homage.
We don't light candles in our living rooms and worship a mute picture on the wall.
No—in our sophisticated U.S. Christian society, and many other western countries—our false gods are far more elaborate, far more
complex, far more "mature."
They are "virtual" false gods...

Can people really change their basic behavior?
CHARACTER:
Can you really change your character?
Some people wrongly believe that people can't change their behavior. They believe once a person's a murderer—he's always a murderer.
Once a person's a homosexual—he's always a homosexual. Once a sexual
pervert—always one. Once a person lacking self control—always that person...And the list goes on.
And sadly, in the vast majority of cases in our world—that's probably the case.
But it doesn't have to be the case.
The Bible tells us that—through the power of Christ—men have...

Conservative Christians often hold disdain for tradition-based churches—but have we become the same?
FEATURE:
Modern churches too 'tradition based?'
I believe many of us understand the danger of allowing what initially might have been a "good, smart church decision"—to be
enforced so long that it macroevolves into a deeply cherished tradition.
So deeply cherished, in fact, that it comes to be viewed as God's actual will.
Although such highly revered traditions often begin by not being identified as "Bible"—the insistence of certain church
leaders upon them makes it clear that they have risen to the status of the "de facto" word of God.

Is widespread knowledge failure plaguing the church?
PART 2:
'Deadly Sin' #2: Deficiency of knowledge
The Bible tells us that "Knowledge puffs up [but] love builds up..."
What a wonderful Biblical reminder of the value of love!
After all, it was our Lord's love that allowed our sins to be washed away, to be forgiven.
Love is unquestionably greater than knowledge—and, let us never forget—the greatest quality of all.
If you are a person of knowledge but not a person of love, you must grow in love.
On the other hand—if you are a person lacking in adequate Biblical knowledge, you must change this!

A new study
has revealed what many of you Bible-readers already knew: Anger is not good for you.
This study might have saved lots of time and money had it focused primarily on the Message from the One
Who knows us better than anyone else: our Creator.
A "study" conducted of the Bible would have revealed that anger, especially wrath and rage out of control, are the works of the flesh.
And the works of the flesh will lead to eternal condemnation if not repented of. Now, perhaps other studies...
